Submission Preparation Checklist

The MRCE International Journal of Advancements in Science, Engineering, and Technology (IJASET) welcomes original research papers, review articles, and case studies from a wide range of disciplines, including but not limited to, General Science, Engineering, Biotechnology, and Computer Science. Authors must follow the submission guidelines to ensure that their work is processed smoothly and reviewed efficiently. Below are the detailed steps and requirements for submitting manuscripts to IJASET:

1. Submission Platform: All submissions must be made through IJASET's online submission system, available on the journal’s official website. This platform allows authors to upload their manuscripts, check the status of their submission, and communicate with the editorial office. Registration is required, and once registered, authors can submit and manage multiple papers under a single account.

2. Types of Manuscripts: IJASET accepts various types of submissions, including:

  • Original Research Articles: In-depth studies reporting new findings.
  • Review Articles: Comprehensive surveys on a specific area of research.
  • Case Studies: Detailed analysis of a particular case or phenomenon. Each type of manuscript must meet the journal’s specific requirements for length, format, and content, all of which are outlined in the submission guidelines.
  • 3. Manuscript Formatting: Authors must prepare their manuscripts according to the journal’s formatting requirements. This includes the following:

  • Title page: Should include the title of the paper, authors' names, affiliations, and contact details.
  • Abstract: A concise summary (150-250 words) of the research.
  • Keywords: A list of 5-7 relevant keywords for indexing purposes.
  • Main text: The manuscript should be structured into sections, such as Introduction, Methods, Results, Discussion, and Conclusion.
  • References: Must follow the citation style specified by the journal, such as APA, MLA, or IEEE, depending on the field. Authors should download and follow the template provided on the journal’s website to ensure that their manuscript meets all formatting requirements.
  • 4. Plagiarism Check: Before submitting, authors are required to ensure that their manuscript is original and free from plagiarism. IJASET uses plagiarism detection software to check all submissions. If a manuscript fails the plagiarism check, it will be immediately rejected. Authors are encouraged to properly cite all sources and ensure that no portion of their work is copied from previously published research without appropriate attribution.

    5. Supplementary Materials: Authors may submit supplementary materials such as datasets, multimedia files, or additional figures and tables, which can support the main manuscript. These materials should be clearly labeled and referenced within the manuscript. Supplementary materials may be made available to readers on the journal's website, enhancing the value of the research.

    6. Ethical Considerations: All authors must adhere to ethical research practices as outlined by IJASET's publication policies. This includes proper acknowledgment of funding sources, declaration of conflicts of interest, and adherence to ethical guidelines for studies involving human or animal subjects. Authors must include an ethics statement, if applicable, in their manuscript.

    7. Peer-Review Process: Once submitted, the manuscript undergoes an initial screening by the editorial team. If deemed suitable, it is sent for a double-blind peer review, where at least two independent experts in the relevant field evaluate the work. Reviewers provide feedback on the manuscript’s originality, scientific validity, and relevance to the field. The review process generally takes 4-6 weeks. Based on the reviewers' comments, the manuscript may be accepted, accepted with revisions, or rejected.

    8. Revisions: If revisions are required, authors are given a specific period (typically 2-4 weeks) to address the reviewers' comments and resubmit their revised manuscript. All changes should be clearly highlighted, and a response letter addressing the reviewers’ concerns must accompany the revised manuscript. Failure to submit the revised version within the given timeframe may result in the rejection of the manuscript.

    9. Submission Fees: No Submission Fees & No Article Publication Fees

    10. Final Submission and Copyright: Once the manuscript is accepted, authors will be required to submit the final version, along with any high-resolution figures, tables, and supplementary materials. Authors must also sign a copyright agreement, granting IJASET the right to publish the manuscript while retaining the author's rights under an open-access license, usually a Creative Commons License (CC BY). This allows for free distribution and reuse of the article with proper attribution to the original authors.
