Dean-Student Affairs
Students Affairs Council provides various opportunities and platforms for students to explore their interests and potential. It motivates the budding engineers in making, to lead the institution from the front under the guidance of faculty mentors and develop managerial and leadership skills. It acts as the primary interface between the Institute’s administration and the student body at large and ensures a free flow of information and communication between the two. It is responsible for ensuring that the student needs are promptly addressed and responded to and that the student clubs and committees’ function with the highest standards as specified in the student charter. It works in close collaboration with the Institute administration for development, review, and revision of appropriate policies for the student body.
Objectives of the Student Affairs Council
The council is an amalgam of diverse students, bringing to table an unique perspective and opinions on ways to bridge the gap between the administration and the students. It's primary objective is to:
- To be the voice of the students to the administration and vice versa as well.
- The purpose of the student council is to give students an opportunity to develop leadership by organizing and carrying out college activities and service projects.
- Create an environment where every student can voice out their concern or need.
- To provide a platform where the students can showcase their talent without hesitation.
- The student council is responsible for the fluid and graceful functioning of Student and College organized events.
