The Climate Action Unit – Green Mitra Initiative is a student-driven environmental sustainability program aimed at fostering eco-consciousness and responsible citizenship among learners. The initiative actively promotes green practices within the campus and the surrounding community through awareness, action, and innovation.
Climate Action Unit – Green Mitra focuses on tree plantation, waste management, energy conservation, water preservation, and plastic-free campus drives, encouraging students to translate environmental knowledge into practical action. Through workshops, campaigns, clean-up drives, and community outreach, the initiative nurtures environmental leadership and sustainable thinking.
To establish Malla Reddy College of Engineering (MRCE) as a model green campus by promoting environmental sustainability, ecological responsibility, and student-led green leadership for a sustainable future.
