About NIRF:
The National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) was approved by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) and officially launched on 29th September 2015 by the Honourable Minister of Human Resource Development. This framework establishes a methodology for ranking institutions nationwide, based on the recommendations and insights of a Core Committee set up by the MHRD. The ranking criteria encompass five broad parameters: “Teaching, Learning, and Resources,” “Research and Professional Practices,” “Graduation Outcomes,” “Outreach and Inclusivity,” and “Perception.”
