Dr. Anantha Raman G R is Professor and Head in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (AI & ML) and Dean IQAC at Malla Reddy College of Engineering, Secunderabad, where he has been since November, 2024. Before worked in K L University, Vijayawada from February 2023 to November 2024. From 2017 to Feb, 2023, he served as Department Head in Malla Reddy Institute of Engineering and Technology, Hyderabad. During 2009 to 2017 he served as Associate professor in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, Adhiyamaan College of Engineering, Hosur. He received IASTE BEST DIRECTOR AWARD in 2018, and an he Appointed as Indian Examiner for Ph.D. VIVA VOCE by Anna University from last 6 Years. He worked as Research coordinator for Ph.D. Part time Research Scholar by SRM University and he appointed as the Boards of Studies (BoS) member for various Engineering colleges from 2019 onwards.
He awarded Ph.D. in Computer Science and Engineering from Anna University-Chennai in 2017. He completed master’s degree ME (CSE) from the Anna University-Chennai in 2009, before that he completed UG, BE (CSE) from the Anna University-Chennai in 2006 before that he completed Diploma in Computer Technology in Adhiparasakthi Polytechnic College, Melmaruvathur.
His research interests span both computer networking and Cloud Computing. Much of his work has been on improving the understanding, design, and performance of Cloud computing, mainly through the application of Big Data, Data statistics, and performance evaluation. In the networking arena, he has worked on characterizing the Internet and the World Wide Web through Cisco Packet Tracer. He has explored the presence and implications of self-similarity and heavy-tailed distributions in virtualization and cloud service-oriented systems and he has also investigated the Dynamic resource allocation over the cloud environment through Demand analysis.
Professor Anantha Raman is co-author of Journal of Computer Communications (ELSEVIER Journal) in 2020 and is the author of over 30 papers in Journals and 35 in conferences proceedings including IEEE on Cloud and Big data domains. And, holds seven patents deriving from his research. As of 2023, Google Scholar reports over many citations to his work. He has given numerous invited talks and tutorials, and he got CSIR fund in year 2022. He published about 9 books and book chapters in various domains.
